What are you most proud of? The swirly colors turned out the way I wanted them to. I love the fragrance. It is called Energy and I get it from Brambleberry. Smells amazing !!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? READ, READ, READ all safety instructions BEFORE beginning any soap project. The lye can be deadly if not used properly and in a well ventilated area. I use the hot-process method (crock pot that is used ONLY for soap making) so it is very easy to get burned by the soap too. Once you feel confident, by all means go for it. One more thing... make sure to keep children and pets away from the area where the lye is still active. Until it has made soap, it is still dangerous.

Thank you ! I named it that because it has 8 oz of coconut oil in it. It doesn't smell like coconuts because I was afriad I would end up making it smell like suntan lotion although I do have coconut fragrance oil. I put Jojoba in this too and it lathers better than any soap I've ever made.
