Hello clyde, Congratulations on your first posting. Before I comment further could you provide me with some more information? The first thing is what is the reference for your drawing: did you work directly from nature, or from another artwork, or a photograph? Is it possible to post an image of your reference? Also, what is the size of your drawing, what type of paper and pencils? You merit a commendation in the announcement of a new style, at least new to me, "Geeky." Look forward to hearing from you soon.

i understand-i think-the priciples of perspective in whole drawing-i cant do it vwry well but i think i understand the principles at least. i dont understand how to make an indiviual figure-like a rock for instance- stand out and appear dimensional. where does the shading go to accomplish this. many thanks clyde

Hello clyde, For your next project it would be best, if possible, for you to go out and work from nature. As important as it is to work from one's imagination, the imagination needs to be informed from experience, that is, drawing from nature. Look forward to your next posting.
