What was your inspiration?
On selling a toy to a young child at a craft market some 20 years ago the joy on that child's face as she cuddled it and talked to it and made instant best friends with it. I want as many children as I can to have that experience.
What are you most proud of?
I can design patterns. After knitting for the best part of 30 years now. I started designing knitted toys only about a year ago. I tend to find it easier following others patterns but I do have creative bones in my body.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It's simply, easy and oh so cute. You can have a really cute toy in a short amount of time.
