What are you most proud of? The way that I got to recycle the wooden hanger. I just love how these look hanging in a closet or on a line. It really gave the project some vintage appeal. You can usually find them at thrift stores, but if you can't, that's ok as you can use a regular hanger instead.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just make sure you know how to make/apply bias binding. It can be a bit tricky, but with the soft curves in this project it is fairly easy to apply. And when you sew the buttons on, they are only for decorative use. Surprise! You don't have to make buttonholes.

I LOVE this bag, but since the full wooden hangers are so hard to find, how would you adapt it to fit the top part of the hanger? And I hope you don't say, "Add a button hole"! Thanks, Paige

Thank you Paige for checking out my pattern. If you check in your local thrift shop you may some wooden hangers there. But if that's not an option try http://www.craftsy.com/project/view/Clothespin-Bag/5407. She has a bag similar to mine but has a topper to cover the hanger. For fun you could marry her top to my bottom and see what you get. And the good news, I don't think you will need a button hole to do this :)

I see what you mean, but I really like the look of your design! Hmmm. Going to have to think on this. If I come up with anything good, I'll let you know!

I have an idea Paige. but it may require a couple of buttonholes. I'll post it as soon as I'm done. It may be a couple of days as we're in the process of renovating and moving. Thank you for your patience.
