What was your inspiration?

For this hat, I wanted to design something with a chunky, warm yarn that was both classy and easy. The result was a cloche with a giant flower low over one ear.

What are you most proud of?

I love the way the shape turned out - a hat needs to have a certain fit that looks great on anybody. This hat happens to look extra wonderful on anyone with short hair. The giant bloom makes me happy, too. Sometimes you need a big flower!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Give this one away! This pattern is super easy, so you can whip up as many hats as you want in a short time period for quick Christmas or birthday gifts.
