Clevage Cover-up Lace

Instructions

I chose my favorite lacy texture to crochet a 2 inch wide rectangle.
Then I mesured the width of the widest point of my shirt that the lace would cover.
The length of my rectangle was that length plus 1/2 inch (for strech).
Then I stitched it into the inside of my too revealing top.
That's it. A simple and FREE pattern.

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Mod, Romantic, Cute, Casual

Materials

number 10 cotton thread and small crochet hook

What was your inspiration?

I was tired of my clevage (and everything else) showing while gardening.

What are you most proud of?

I can be cool in while gardening and stay covered.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It is WAY EASIER than it looks to make this cover up.

THANK YOU!!! This such an easy project, that I made another yesterday. I'll post pictures soon. There are all sorts of neat things you can do with this pattern too.... You can add shell stich to the top edge to add style, or make two small rectangles that join at the bottom to create an open, yet modest look. have fun!!
