Pre cut Kit I purchased from a quilting store in country Victoria.
What was your inspiration?
I purchased this kit 10 years ago - on a whim and because I liked it - had never done any patchwork but had to buy it and put it away to try to make on a rainy day. When my eldest daughter announced she was pregnant I found the kit and that, shall we say, brought out the quilting monster in me.
What are you most proud of?
The fact that it was my first ever quilt. It is called the "Cletus" Quilt (Cletus the Foetus). Baby Felix Pete was born in April 2010 and yes he does get tucked into his cot with Cletus...and yes it did take us a while before we stopped calling him Cletus!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This project and any other project - just do it, make a start and enjoy.
