What materials did you use? Lovely by Sandy Gervais fat quarter bundle

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I sewed this block WITH NO PINNING!! None! I looked on youtube for eos of drunkard's path blocks and I got some tips on sewing without pins. I highly recommend you look for alternative sewing methods on this block. Pinning is crazy and soooo time-consuming!

Good for you! I sewed mine without pins too. I put the "L" on the bottom and guided the curved piece on top as I went. I'm all for skipping pins any chance I get. And BTW - love those Sandy Gervais fabrics....

thanks, Jean. I pinned on the first block and it honestly took more time than cutting and sewing combined. Like I said, i watched youtube to get ideas on making this in an easier way. Something I found out- there is actually a foot for sewing curved pieces. I wasn't especially crazy about curves, but it would be something good to invest in for someone who does sew many curved pieces.
