Instructions
I used a commerical pattern for the basic shape. Replaced the buttons with a zipper, added belt loops, created a high standing collar, 3/4 length cuffed sleeves and a belt to mimic the design of the outfit that the Monster High Doll was wearing for the costume for my granddaughter.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
I've been making costumes since my kids were little and now making them for my granddaughter. She picks the costume and then I figure out how to get the look she's trying to achieved. There have been some interesting choices from her over the years.
What are you most proud of?
I had only seen a sticker design of the dress, not the actual dress on the doll that was my guide on what she wanted. When she saw the costume, her comment after it is "beautiful" was that it "turned out better than she expected".
As the main picture states "IT WAS A PERFECT FIT". Not to mention unique because there were no other costumes like this at the trick or treating event. Lots of Monster High costumes but not one like this.
