Wool like black fabric and toupe vinyl accents.

What was your inspiration?

I saw a similar bag in a store in leather and I thought it was nice, I try it with fabric and vinyl and it came out ok, I used jean shorts zippers wich were har to put on because they are tiny and the vinyl is slippery.

What are you most proud of?

The zippers LOL

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have a lot of patience....

All of your bags are gorgeous! I have taken your course, but have not attempted anything yet as I have been away from home for the last two months visiting my daughter in Chicago. All we have around here (believe it or not) is a JoAnn's. On the South Side I found a wonderful warehouse full of discount fabrics or all kinds. Will have to visit it with an eye out for "handbag materials."I always bring my sewing machine when I visit as there is always something to sew; draperies, tablecloths, and this time slip covers for two chairs! My daughter does not sew. Thanks for your wonderful inspirations.

This is such a fabulous job. I agree with the others that your bags really look professional. I've signed up for the course and have already watched it, but have so many other projects to finish first that I've had to put it on hold. After seeing your wonderful bags, I'm just dying to jump in there and try some new techniques.

Oh boy ! Lovely job. Make a tut or pattern for this! Is that piping on the sides too, that must have been difficult in the vinyl.
