What materials did you use? Cotton, buttons, perle thread No. 8. Pattern: Burda 7136 (View A)

What are you most proud of? Instead of top stitching the collar, front band, pocket and cuffs I hand stitched it. I like how the hand stitching makes the shirt pop. It's a simple running stitch done with Perle No.8 thread. Took some time with the hand stitching but even then the stitches are a little quirky but I suppose it adds to the charm of being 'hand made'. That's my story and I'm sticking with it! :)

Barbara I LOVE your shirt. The fabric choice, buttons and handstitching all work so well together. Congratulations on a beautiful item.

Hi Barbara J, Beautiful, and so well done!! I love all of the details: Collar, cuffs, front band, tower placket, and the great saddle stitching by hand. Truly a custom made shirt :-)) Thanks for inspiring us all! Pam
