What materials did you use? Dobby Stretch Cotton/Nylon/Spandex AND McCalls Pattern # M6649 (slightly modified) - hard to see that it's the same pattern!

What are you most proud of? Everything! The fit. The quality of my stitching. My precision. I certainly took more care with this one and everything fitted together perfectly!Oh, and I love the three buttons on each cuff. Not sure if you can see it properly in the photo, but I thought it would give it a more feminine look! Very pleased!PS: now that we're talking about buttons, Pam recommended a spacing of 4" (10cm) between each button but mine are set at 8cm. I'm happy with this overall look.If it interests you, feel free to read more about my sewing adventures at my blog: http://snazzysewnsew.wordpress.com/

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Enjoy it. There's nothing hard about this one and within a couple of days you'll have a gorgeous garment you can wear. I have already bought and washed my next shirt fabric and can't wait to get started!

You are WEARING that shirt Snazzy SewNsew, Go Girl!!! Absolutely LOVE the confidence and quality I see posted here. The shirt looks store-bought and the fit is excellent! I am loving the material also, and I can see the 3 buttons on the sleeves. Nice detail! Your post here has made my decision easy...I came on today to pick out 2 classes and this class will definitely be one is them! It's actually my 2nd class by Pam Howard. What a calm, professional instructor she is! I'm off now. Thanks for sharing your professionally constructed, wonderfully fitted shirt with us...You get Two Thumbs Up!!!

Love your shirt .D id you need to do a fba

Hi Noreen, No, I didn't do an FBA (full bust adjustment). The only adjustments I did were to add length to the body and sleeves (about 5cm (2") as I'm 6' tall. I really should make another one coz I love that shirt so much and it was a joy to make! I can't believe it's been 3 years since I made it. I haven't sewn a thing for the past 12 months. I must get back into it!! Thanks for your comment. :)

I just had a look at the pattern and it actually has different cup size options so maybe that's why the fit is right. I doubt I did an FBA because that just seems like hard work (for me!)
