What was your inspiration?
I was working on crochet as you go motifs for a top and skirt and decided it would be fun to make a hat to match.
What are you most proud of?
I was able to incorporate the look of the skirt yoke into the cap of the hat so it coordinates well with the set. I like the picot edging around the border also.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you use a dark color for this hat, be sure to have good lighting since the stitches get close together as you work toward the top of the hat.
The finished hat circumference is 22-1/2".
