What was your inspiration?
I thought it looked like a fun project, and I had crocheted some doll dresses for Barbie Dolls that I thought would be happy living there. The magazines in the magazine rack were ads for quilting magazines that I had cut out of my many magazines. The photo on the table was of my little redheaded grandson. The telephone was fun to make. It has half a shirt snap for the dial and a push-pin for the receiver. The lady of the house is holding a crocheted cup of tea in a saucer while relaxing and reading the magazine on her lap. Her yarn and knitting needles are in the basket beside the couch. My dad's double-cousin, Lucy, brought the well-equipped knitting basket to a family reunion silent auction table years ago. She is a really gifted crafter. (We have 2 Lucy's in the family now)
The little ceramic dog lounging on the floor was just my added attraction. I love dogs.
What are you most proud of?

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I don't know where to start, but you will have fun if you just do it!
