Share a little about the ingredients and techniques used to create this dish/item. King Arthur All Purpose Flour, Organic. Unsalted Butter and Ghee from family farm. Organic Fresh Farm Eggs. Instant Yeast.
What are you most proud of? The rolling - and hitting absolute perfection with the measurements. It's hard to tame the gluten to sit still.
What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch the entire video before attempting, if you are not a baker. I like to cook, but I am not a baker - more for health reasons than anything. But now that I am in my mid-thirties, I'm starting to relax with the diet a bit, and splurging on incredible treats. I appreciate all the love, attention, and artfulness that went into making these. This is also the first time I've treated my food as "alive" - but, truly, once the yeast is added, it is alive! Also, use the best ingredients. You are only as good as your weakest ingredient!
