cotton fabrics in red and white cotton sewing thread fusible fleece (Vliesofix)

What was your inspiration?

I love classic, traditional Christmas decorations, especially Scandinavian ones.

What are you most proud of?

That I finally managed to sew the edges properly.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It is simple. Just do it. And make a cardboard template for cutting the squares. You can use the template over and over for other projects.

Nicely done! I am a quilter, and invested in the plastic templates and a rotary cutter and now couldn't live without them, lol. You can also get template plastic you can cut yourself, which is awesome if you ever do any applique stuff. Excellent job!

Hey Karen, thank you! I have a rotary cutter, but the plastic is a great idea. I often found that I cut into the edge of the cardboard and so the template gets smaller and smaller. *lol*
