What was your inspiration?

I have a lace shawl pattern which, despite being a reasonably experienced knitter of many years, I could not master. I needed help

What are you most proud of?

It's not perfect but I wear it with joy.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

When Laura tells you to use the fingerling weight rather than the lace weight for your first project, believe her! I knit a first Clarus from lace weight yarn which was beautiful but SO difficult and much less wearable due in part to my mistakes and in part to the fact that it came out smaller than I would have liked. This fingerling weight is much easier to work with, less frustrating for a beginner lace knitter and makes up larger than the lace weight yarn.
