This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Knit This: Mastering Lace Shawls »

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Traditional, Romantic, Classic

Materials

Malabrigo Baby Merino Lace weight, shade Hollyhock.

What was your inspiration?

This is the second shawl pattern on the "Knit This! Mastering Lace Shawls." course by Laura Nelkin.

What are you most proud of?

Finding a delightful pattern for this lovely yarn. It was left over from a shawl I knitted some years ago. I'd bought far too much and been a little disappointed with the resulting shawl.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just go for it. The instructions are really clear and reassuring.

Thanks so much for your kind comment, Mig. Te lovely thing about taking time over pinning out the points is that they stay in place once the shawl is dry. This is such a cosy shawl to wear too.

All your shawls are gorgeous , but this is my favorite. The points are particularly lovely, and take a lot of time to perfect! I've not knit shawls but do love making lace scarves.
