What was your inspiration?
My bridal collection has been available as made to order for the past 10 years. I will soon be releasing a limited line of sewing patterns based on the original collection. Claire will be the first pattern released. I want to start with a classic style gown that brides can adjust to individual styles. Sewing instructions will include ideas to customize the gown.
What are you most proud of?
The fit of the gown. I used the most up to date fitting standards in my patterns and brides are always very happy with the fit of my collection. My sewing instructions will include information on how to make you gown fit you well.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
A bridal gown is not as scary as you think it will be to make! I do advise making a muslin first to test drive the fit and style and make adjustments before you cut into real fabric.
