What was your inspiration?

Love quilting & purchased a 1907 Antique Singer Treadle machine.

What are you most proud of?

Assembling all the block parts.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Read directions with a pencil in hand to make notes & be sure you are following the right cutting directions. Sometimes you have to do some from each section.

Great job! Look at all the points you had to sew. I don't have that much patience for this type of quilt but yours is beautiful.

Thank you! Waiting for the fabric for the border, backing & binding I got a treadle machine but I didn't sew this on it! I bought the old machine & base back in October. My husband cleaned & restored them & then he built a replica oak desk top for it. It works but its for show, in my sewing room. I made this quilt to drape on the open lid.
