I added 4 additional blocks to make it a queen size. For as much as I learned from making this quilt it was time and money well spent. I am not the same quilter I was when I started. Each square was a mini quilt of learning from Kaye England.

Type of item: Functional?!!! No way! This quilt is decorative and homely and shows how talented you are. It's also very big and must have cost a fair bit. I must check the size of the final quilt this class makes. I've just worked out that the quilt could cost me at least 100, if I get the Valori Wells fat quarters I've seen, which are 2.95 per fat quarter. If mine looks anywhere near as good as this though, it's money well spent. Thanks for sharing the photos

How do I get to your project page? Whenever I click on your name and then on the projects tab, it just brings me back to this page

To see the back of the quilt you'll need to "follow" Kay and then you can click on her projects - the back is genius!!

Beautiful! Love the idea of putting the name of the blocks on the quilt back...i may need to steal that idea and use it somehow!

I also did all the machine quilting on my home machine. Each block is quilted differently. On the quilt back I machine embroidered the name of each block that corresponds to the block on the other side.
