Had a pattern on paper. Taped pattern to window, put black fabric over, and traced with a white chalk pencil. Cut out, basted under seam allowance, and sewed to quilt.

I absolutely this!!! Your work is beyond beautiful, so simple, but yet so stunning. You did a beautiful job. Both my daughter and I have black cats, so this quilt is dear to our hearts. Fabulous quilt!!!!!! I love the way the straight lines change direction. It gave a wonderful texture and that little detail to find and enjoy.

Got the pattern on E-bay. It's by Amity Publications and the year on it is 1984.

Spray basted quilt and machine stitched in ditch around small triangles and borders. The rest is hand quilted, which is why it took so long.
