Whilst making my last Cirrus pendant, it occured to me that it looked a bit like a butterfly wing, so I made 2 pendants (one the reverse of the other) and attached them together with a little wire body and hey presto - a butterfly was born!! I have made this with Red Aventurine faceted drops, tiny Red agate beads, Garnet and Honeyjade as well as silver beads of graduating sizes and silver wire. The butterfly is 2" across and 2 1/2" from the top bead to the bottom of the drop. It hangs on 18" of silver chain (including the connectors and clasp).
