What was your inspiration?
I wanted to design an intricately cabled sock that wasn't so difficult you'd have to tire out your brain to knit them!
What are you most proud of?
I love the way the cable gets carried down the back of the heel; I'm also really proud of the unusual three-needle bindoff I invented to carry the twisted stitches all the way around the toe.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just take it one row at a time! Trust the pattern, and you'll have a finished pair of socks in no time! Don't make them harder than they are. :)
