What was your inspiration?
My hiking buddies (without beards). My daughter had taken my original photo and photoshopped it. It was so funny, I thought we belonged in a circus and not on the hiking trails.
What are you most proud of?
Fusing the circus print and the photo transfer. Embroidering in all the hair and adding the beading. I like the string of lights as well.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid to use your imagination. Take a moment in time (a photo) and create art. It will turn out as good as you want it to.
