What materials did you use? Cotton flannel material and batting

What are you most proud of? This is my first hand at free motion quilting and appliquing. It is far from perfect and working with flannel added a little bit of a challenge but it did make it very soft.

So cute! Was the border pieced or did you find that material? Is that flannel or flannelette? Love your echoing.

Thank you. The border is not pieced it is flannel material from Hancocks, all of the material except the appliqu balloons is flannel, the balloons are cotton with fusible fleece under them to give them puffiness.

Thank you, you comment came up at the perfect time. I am getting ready to start fmq my second quilt but it a quilt I made for 'Quilts for Kids' and I'm a little nervous about it not coming out nice enough to donate. I needed a boost of confidence.
