Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Wire-Wrapped Stones, Crystals & Clusters »

Instructions

Instead of adding a loop at the bottom and another bead, I used a longer piece of wire and went back through the center and wire-wrapped a bead in the middle of the wire circle.

Difficulty:

Category: Jewelry

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Classic, Casual

Materials

Silver-Plated 26 Gauge Wire (Craft Wire), 20-Gauge Silver-Plated Wire for Ear-wires, 2 8mm beads, 2 4mm beads

What was your inspiration?

The inspiration was this class, Aga (an excellent instructor), and a little imagination. I still consider this a practice piece, but may do more in precious metals later.

What are you most proud of?

Adapting the class design to my own. More ideas are breweing.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take your time pulling the wire through the loop as there is less room since there is a bead there. Try not to get kinks in the wire as it may break. Oh, and, take better pictures than I do :-)

Great idea to include the bead in the center. I will try to make this trick. Thanks.

Good luck with it. Be sure to leave more than 4 inches on the end you go back through with. you'lk need about 8 inches or so. Thank you.
