What was your inspiration?

This was my first sewing project! It seemed simple and the pattern was free online, so I thought, why not?

What are you most proud of?

I'm so proud of how it came out. I bought nice fabric (that the shine has luckily faded a bit from so I can wear it very casually) and I ended up cutting it too small. Additionally, it was far too short and the scallops around the waist came out terribly. I rallied and added a panel to bottom and took out the scallops and now it's a fantastic circle skirt.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Go slowly and double check your measurements. (Or make a muslin. I hear those help!)
