For: Children

Style: Whimsical, Cute, Retro / Vintage

Materials

I used all cotton material.

What was your inspiration?

I made this for my grandaughter's 13th birthday. She and her mother chose the material. I have made quilts for three of my other grandaughters and still have one more to make for one. I made a hand tied quilt for my oldest grandson and let him pick the material...he got it for his 9th birthday.

What are you most proud of?

The fact that I finished it! I kept being afraid that she wouldn't like it when it was done. I did the binding and it was my first time to do that. This is a twin size.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

To take your time. The circles are very forgiving with the prints of the materials I used.

Very nice and better than any store-bought blanket, because it's filled with love. :)
