What was your inspiration?
This was my first Granddaughter and I really wanted to make something special for her.
My mother was sick at the time and I was spending time with her while I worked on it. So the hand Applique was perfect. And the time with my mother was gerat. She helped me with the lay out and colors.
It is a special memory for me.
What are you most proud of?
The applique.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you buy the non-stick applique pressing sheets. Make a world of difference in interfacing applique. Fun to.
