What was your inspiration?

This was one of my first more difficult quilts I learned to make at my local quilt shop. It consisted of a lot of piecing and I was extremely proud to finish it. I gave it to my DH as a gift. The back is all flannel. Perfect for those cold nights in Upstate NY.

What are you most proud of?

I was proud that I didn't get discouraged with all the little pieces I had to put back together after the cutting was done. And my blocks were to its correct size every single time I finished one.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have patience and don't let all the pieces overwhelm you. As you continue sewing the blocks come together much faster then the first.

I love the wonky churndash, fabulous job. I have just downloaded a tutorial and want to make them. Thanks for sharing and the inspiration.

Doing a wonky churndash has really made this project so much more interesting. Like the stars in the centre as well. Super colour fabrics
