What was your inspiration?

Wanted to whip up present's for my friend's grandchildren. These took less than an hour to make.

What are you most proud of?

I just made them up as I went along and they turned out beautifully.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have fun.

I don't know if it is possible to print out written instructions from this site but you could possibly copy and paste them to a document. Or you could write them out because they are quite simple. Hope this helps.

hdc half double crochet, ch chain, tc triple crochet, ss slip stitch, dc double crochet, ww yarn is worsted weight also called a number 4 weight, sc single crochet. I'm not sure if Denmark uses American or British terms because they are different. I am using American terms here although I am Canadian. Try looking at youtube videos on how to do the stitches to be sure you are doing the right ones. Hope this helps. Thank you for your interest in my project.

Hi. Check out my Chunky Monkey project for the basic hat pattern. The eyes are just in black ww yarn ch 2, 6 hdc in 2nd ch from hook join, fasten off. Join cream, 2 hdc in each stitch around (12 hdc) join with ss. ch 1, 2 hdc in each stitch around (24 hdc), join, fasten off leaving a long tail to sew them on. Join contrast colour, Hdc in 1st st, 2 hdc in next stitch, continue half way around, increasing every other stitch. fasten off, leave long tail. Attach as per picture. Beak ch 7 ss in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next chain, hdc in next ch, dc in next chain, tc in next ch, fasten off leaving long tail. For horns (make 2) cut 2 10"lengths of the three yarn colours, attach on side of crown as per picture, trim. Braids are 2 30" lengths of three yarn colours. Hope this helps.
