What was your inspiration?
This stone has more brown than the blue chrysocolla. I wanted to bring out the blue green color, so I added the colored wire to my weave. I think it makes the color of the stone pop.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid to add color to your designs. It doesn't take much to bring out the best of your cabochon.
