Instructions
Start with a felt backing, sew over the top of the felt for dowel pocket, add fabric scraps, cover with netting and sew around fabric scraps. Paint a tree on canvas using watercolor paint, cut out tree and add snaps and buttons. Sew tree onto project and add a painted wooden star. Add dowel and hang it up.Difficulty:

Saw something like this on the internet ... although after I was done it did not look anything like what I saw. That is the beauty of it ... you are the designer!
What are you most proud of?
I've been trying to sew "out of the box" and I think I finally did it !!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Check your fabric stash and left over Christmas "stuff" and go for it.
