What was your inspiration?
After watching the machine quilting class with Wendy Butler Burns, I got courageous and tried the FMQ leaves that you see on the tree skirt. I know they're not all perfect, but at least it's a start!
What are you most proud of?
I am proud that the quilted leaves came out as well as they did! They add a lot of pop to the tree skirt, too, I think.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I practiced sewing these leaves before I did them on the skirt.
