What was your inspiration?
Wanted something bright for the Christmas table this year instead of usual lace cloth
What are you most proud of?
I am proud that I looked at what was in my fabric stash before running out and buying a new cloth. I picked up this fabric from an op shop for a few dollars about 6 months ago and although it is a knit fabric it looks great.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I only turned up the hem once as this was a knit and wouldn't fray so take that into account when turning hems using woven fabric. Have fun, there are no rules when it comes to home decorating just your own.
