What was your inspiration?
At Christmas time I have a lunch and then a cookie exchange with a few family members. I like to create something for the table that has each person's name - something to take home. I plan to make the larger size of the two pictured and write the names on the folded part. I'll add a candy cane and some dark chocolate balls. So I was looking for ideas online and found this wonderful blog with several cute ideas.
What are you most proud of?
I like that these are lined and it's fun to select fabrics that will look nice together.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Plan to make a few until you get the size you want. When you cut out your template remember to add 1/4" all around for your seam allowance.
