What materials did you use? Styrofoam ring (approx 8 in, or 18 cm), scrap (red, green and white) fabrics, pins and a bow and a string!

What are you most proud of? It was a group effort - someone provided the ring, someone else hinted, and there were a lot of donations of scraps. Also, several of us did the pinning!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't cover the back, as otherwise it will not hang properly against a door or wall. Don't try and do it all in one session (unless a group of you are doing it) as your fingers will get tired with the pins. Cut too few squares to start with (you'll need well over 100, but maybe cut 50 at a time to get an idea of how much you'll need). And don't worry about the scraps being Christmassy or not - the individual patterns won't show!
