What was your inspiration?
I saw a photo similar to this online and I adapted it to make a matching pair of table runners.
What are you most proud of?
This really was a very quick and easy project and. I was able to use up a bunch of scraps from my Christmas stash. When I made these I knew only one free motion quilting stitch - meander, of course. After Cindy Needham's class I'm thinking of going back an filling in most of the white center section with scribbling and trying to make the quilted holly leaves stand out more distinctly. I need to wait to get my sewing machine back from the repair shop first, though, so it won't be this weekend. lol
