What was your inspiration?
I wanted to use this technique, reverse masking, to create a soft frame for the stamp. I decided to go for a monochromatic look, with lots of texture added with embossing.
What are you most proud of?
I love the variety of textures and how they work together.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
For reverse masking, I love using freezer paper. After you create the opening you sponge through, you use the template plastic side down. The paper side can take a lot of ink, but the plastic keeps the ink from seeping through to the back, so that you can use the template again and again.
