Materials
This necklace features wire wrapped loops holding trios of beads - in this case, 6 mm red garnet beads surrounded by champagne quartz crystals, and 8 mm green jade surrounded by 5 mm pearls - joined with simple s-shaped wire links. The center stone is a larger faceted red quartz. I used 18 gauge silver filled wire to make the links and the clasp and 22 gauge for the wire wrapped loops. Tools used: round nose pliers, flat nose pliers, crimpers, flush cutters, chasing hammer, bench block, file.
