What was your inspiration?
I wanted a bright colorful quilt for my couch during christmas, I waited until the christmas fabrics went on sale and got them for half price after the holidays...
What are you most proud of?
This is another one of mine that I didn't use a pattern for, I'm sorry, I know a lot of people want patterns, but I rarely ever use them!! the quilt blocks are foundation pieced New York Beauties... the rest is just imagination, I'm in the process of quilting this right now, once it's done I'll post another pic...
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Foundation piecing is not as hard as it looks, I use a software program called electric quilt, and print the foundation papers onto lightweight foundation paper that you can get on the internet, it's lighter and easier to tear off of the block when it's done...
