Granny designed this for me so that there are no intersections for me to match. I cut a square, I put the ruler on it crooked and cut it in half, I sewed the halves together with a strip for a ribbon. Then I sewed ivory blocks to the tops and bottoms, then I joined the packages with 2" ivory strips. Then I sewed fabric tubes to make the bows out of. It just kept growing and growing!Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
This was my third year of sewing and I wanted to make my mommy a Christmas gift.
What are you most proud of?
I liked making it myself.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You can make the gifts all face one way in a row, or you can make some upside down so at the dinner table everyone can see a gift from all sides. Granny did the quilting on her new longarm quilter I told GranDude to get her, so she needed all the edges to be bigger so it could be pinned on. She marked the finished size and only quilted inside the marks.
