What was your inspiration?

I loved doing this project so much that most of my friends got a set of these for christmas

What are you most proud of?

a hand made gift is one chosen with love and all of mine were chosen with love

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I quilted all of mine in different ways, colour aside they looked very different when finished,

Your Sailor's Delight placemats and octagon topper are absolutely beautiful - and your quilting is really awesome!! The recipients of these gifts are certainly lucky to have such a talented friend - wonderful!!!

I wish I was on your Christmas list. I love how you made the block your own. These are awesome and I love your feathers surrounding the block. If I can only do this pattern as beautifully as you I will be happy too!
