Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Wilton's Royal Icing recipe on top of Fondant.

What are you most proud of? I did not trace or use a pattern for my piped flowers. I went ahead and piped with ultimate freedom, deciding I'd treat it like an improvised drawing.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Why not experiment with left overs? Instead of throwing away extra fondant, freeze it, and roll it out on top of yummy sugar cookies! It's less fuss than decorating a cake, yet, you get to practice your technical skills.

Too beautiful to eat! You are very talented with your knitting, baking, sewing. Will you be my crafting partner. :-) I also enjoy crafting and learning new crafty ideas. You go girl!

Thank you. After I posted this, Craftsy came out with a Cookie decorating course, which covers this technique.
