This pattern came from the magazine Fon's & Porter's Love of Quilting, Nov/Dec 2009 -quilt by Patti Carey on pg. 65 - I modified it a bit from the version shown there.Difficulty:

Cotton fabrics, felt heart buttons, polyester batting, polyester thread, muslin (for the tag-and embroidery thread), sewing supplies & tools.
What was your inspiration?
Christmas quilting contest. 1) I have never entered a quilting contest and 2) I have never made a Christmas quilt before...so it was time to do both in one project.
What are you most proud of?
How nice it looks! The recipes are for making real Christmas cookies...I think there were 5 different cookie recipes and one for making icing too...then they repeated...I liked the fabrics - most of them are from the same designer...but they are all Christmas themed.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you see a pattern - and you don't want to make it exactly as shown - you can always modifiy it to your needs, just like I did..and have fun too!
