What was your inspiration?
I wanted a festive adornment for the wall and couldn't find anything I liked in the shops, at least not for a good price. Thus I decided to make my own!
What are you most proud of?
I think the letters I embroidered on look really good. I'm also pleased at my holly and mistletoe leaves. These were found in the book "100 Flowers to Knit and Crochet".
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid to adapt patterns to make your own things. That is what I did with this project. The triangles are adapted from a pattern I found for a scarf but look how good it turned out!
