What are you most proud of? Combining Vintage and Modern fabrics!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Measure and cut accurate. - especially if you use a triangle ruler. Make a couple of sample blocks and join them to see if everything is lining up straight and flat. Consider fusible fleece for more body. Using spray basting, set with an iron, helps keep things flat while quilting.

Many thanks JudiH! It was a labor of love. I thought it would be easier the second time around... but mixing the vintage and modern fabrics was a real challenge.

You're welcome Diana and thank you for your kind words. I used my triangle ruler for the fussing cutting. It helped a lot to be able to see "through" the ruler so I didn't waste the vintage pieces.

Spectacular! This vintage bits are just so perfect for this project, and it was well worth the time you spent pairing them with modern fabrics. Well done!!!
