What was your inspiration?
I was asked to make a princessy sparkley Christening cake, i had the patchwork cutters Church window, so cut out the sections to make it more open and then followed the colour of the ribbon to make the hand made roses.
What are you most proud of?
I like how the topper turned out and always pleased how life like i can get the roses!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use a cake tin that is moulded rather than joined, so it gives sharp corners, making it easier to ice!
And....
For the decoration,Its only sugar, if it doesnt work, roll it up and start again, have fun above all!
