What materials did you use? Moda 100% Cotton Vin Du Jour by 3 Sisters for the top and Moda Wool and Needle Flannels by Primitive Gatherings for the backing.

Definitely a challenge. Courtenay's lessons helped so much. I still had a bit of a bump in the middle of a few of the stars. The quilting helped tame those without much of a bump. One I had to dismantle partially and resew. I think I stretched the fabrics with my rough handling. After I washed it, I sat glass jars with rice on the centers to flatten them more.

I used Lissa Alexander's color placement directions from McCall's Quilting Jan/Feb 2014 issue for the variations in tone.

Very ambitious with so many stars! Very nice! I can relate to sewing and re-sewing because middle didn't line up just right.
